Baowu Heavy Industry has joined Baowu Equipment Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.

Baowu Heavy Industry and Sinosteel Equipment to operate as a single entity

With the establishment of the Roll Collaborative Development Division, Baowu Heavy Industry has consolidated the roll grinding services of units such as Baosteel Co., Ltd., Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.

Baowu Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was officially inaugurated (hereinafter referred to as ‘Baowu Heavy Industry’). Baowu Heavy Industry: Centred on the Anhui Maanshan Iron & Steel Engineering Technology Group, it specialises in the integration of subsidiaries including Baosteel Roll, Baosteel Casting, Jiangnan Roll, Shanghai Kede and Baoling Heavy Industry. Baowu Zhiwei specialises in the integration of maintenance and inspection operations from Maanshan Iron & Steel, Wuhan Iron & Steel, Meishan Iron & Steel, Shaoguan Iron & Steel and Taiyuan Iron & Steel.

Shanghai Baosteel Industrial Technology Services Co., Ltd. has been renamed Baowu Equipment Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.

Anhui Ma Steel Engineering Technology Group has been established. The Group comprises subsidiaries including a design institute, a steel structure company, an equipment maintenance company, a heavy machinery company, a surface treatment company and a conveying equipment company.

Shanghai Baosteel Industrial Testing Company has been renamed Shanghai Baosteel Industrial Testing Co., Ltd. Shanghai Baosteel Industrial Testing Co., Ltd. has merged with Shanghai Baosteel Equipment Maintenance Co., Ltd. to form Shanghai Baosteel Industrial Technical Services Co., Ltd.
